Louisiana pedestrian struck in early morning car accident

The presence of pedestrians on Louisiana streets is a common occurrence. Unfortunately, pedestrians face a great risk of sustaining injuries should they be involved in an accident with a motor vehicle. One such car accident recently has left a pedestrian severely injured.

Fatal accident takes life of Louisiana man

A man who escaped serious injury in a car accident was struck and killed by another vehicle as he attempted to cross the road. According to Louisiana police, the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident started when the driver of the vehicle the man was riding in lost control and crashed into a ditch at around 2 a.m. After the accident occurred, the occupants were able to extract themselves from the car and cross the highway so they could call for assistance.

Louisiana women seriously injured in car accident

One Louisiana town takes its charity work so seriously they have a permanent donation booth on a street for charitable organizations to use to collect donations from motorists. The booth is located on the center line of Saizan Avenue in Port Barre. The booth was destroyed recently in a car accident that seriously injured two women.

Alcohol suspected in fatal accident that killed Louisiana student

A man is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol when his car struck and killed a pedestrian in the early morning hours. Louisiana police say the fatal accident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. when the man's vehicle struck the pedestrian as he was attempting to cross the street. The pedestrian was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
