Louisiana driver fatigue a factor in Guardsman's death?

The Louisiana Army National Guard has been in cooperation with local efforts across the state to bring relief to those affected by Hurricane Isaac. A recent detail of Guardsmen were in Hammond supplying assistance and returning home to Shreveport when tragedy stuck, wounding one and killing another. The military Humvee was traveling at the rear of a northbound convoy when an 18 wheeler approached from behind and struck the Humvee. Officials are not sure if driver fatigue played a role in this accident at the time of this report.

Louisiana car accident claims the life of school teacher

Louisiana State Police are investigating a recent crash that killed one and injured several others. The loss of a beloved teacher and colleague has shaken a community, and devastated her students. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the incident. However, the force of two impacts during the multiple motor vehicle accident was just too much.

Louisiana truck accident claims the life of elderly woman

A recent accident has Louisiana State Police investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 64-yeaar-old Pioneer woman. Reports state that the woman's vehicle was struck by an 18-wheeler as she turned into a private drive. She was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital following the fatal truck accident.
